I'm sure a lot of people have a similar story... young couple buys house that has a pool and thinks, "how hard can it be" – summer comes, take off the cover, and it's a disaster. A pool originally built in the 1950s was equitable to having a puppy and a newborn child – and we had those too.

We started getting bids on repairing the pool. Not knowing anything about pools, I believe the "other companies" in St. Louis knew that – and used it to their advantage. At least 5 bids came in double what we ended up paying with St. Louis Pool. One bid was half the value of our modest home. Exhausted and frustrated by the process we closed the pool and considered moving.

By chance I called St. Louis pool and that's when we met Rich. Rich is a professional, knowledgeable and understood all our pool issues. We started work in Fall of 2016. Rich helped us pick coping, tile, and river rok. We needed new piping and electric too. He started work right away and his open communication throughout the project gave us confidence in a subject we knew little about. Rich kept his work site clean, worked normal hours, and everyone (including the kids and dog) were comfortable with his presence.

It's 2020 and fixing our pool has the best home repair decision we have made. We keep in close contact with Rich and he stops by from time to time to guarantee his work. He cares about his customers. He is always quick to respond with good answers when we ask our pool questions.

We are so fortunate to have had Rich Glickert of St. Louis Pool recommended to us by a friend. We had a pool which had been in disuse for several years. We were expecting the worst as Rich began to pull the cover off the pool. It could have been worse, but the pool still needed tile, the deck needed repair and the surface of the pool needed refinishing. Rich and his team did all of this and more with professionalism and expertise. As that job progressed Rich also repaired the pool pump and did tuck pointing on the pools brick wall perimeter. All of this was done within the original cost estimates. Rich and the crew were always prompt and present when promised.

In our estimation, Rich can do anything and do it well. We developed a friendship as a result of his diligently working on the project and our trust in his workmanship and integrity.
